The Potain Igo T 85 A hydraulic tower crane is ideal for small construction sites and tight areas. The chassis outriggers swing and lock into position extending out 4.5 m (14.8 ft) in a square outrigger spread with 3.3 m (10.8 ft) for maximum turning radius. The crane has a max lift capacity of 6 tons (6.6 U.S. tons). a max. hook height with horizontal jib reaches out to 38 m (125 ft,), a max, hook height 51 m (167 ft) with 45 m (148 ft) jib set at 30° and also has multiple operational jib configurations. The operating hook radius of the crane works within a 45 m (148 ft.). The height of the telescopic lattice mast can reach up to 38 m (125 ft.) with optional mast inserts and move 360 ̊ during raising sequence.
The swing system uses RVF 151 Optima for the slewing mechanism with a maximum swing speed of 0.8 . The Igo T 85 A features an anti-load swinging system making aligning the load and jib easier for the operator. Progressive control of speed with counter-slewing is made possible using multiple speeds depending upon parameter selected.
The Igo T 85 A uses a 480 volt three phase power hookup with an earth rod and electric cable stowed on the crane during transport. Standard wireless radio remote control with indicators and auxiliary control unit can be supplemented with an optional tethered joystick control unit with 30 m (98 ft) cable. The Potain Igo T 85 A has an optional UltraView cab that bolts onto the crane at a fixed height. Controls are integrated into the cab and operator’s seat and provides ergonomic comforts from an aerial position.
